Founder & CEO
Shelita Dawson-Cooper
Shelita is an exemplary coach, mentor, and motivator. Since founding Too Much Dance in 1999, Shelita has been an influential part of Too Much Dance expansion while providing dancers with the personalized attention they need to fulfill their dance goals. She is a passionate, hands-on teacher who inspires greatness in others, and leaves her students excited to learn more. She encourages her students to develop lifelong relationships among each other and becoming world travelers. Shelita’s skillset is unparalleled and her creativity is what sets the team apart from other dance teams.
Co-Owner & Choreographer
Jasmine Graves
Jasmine is our Co-Owner and one of our most loved team members. She is well respected by our staff and students alike. Jasmine's creativity and passion for dance and instilling confidence in the students is a true inspiration. Jasmine’s performing experiences date back to her youth when her mother, Shelita, began teaching dance lessons in their home. Jasmine maintained dance involvement throughout her youth and throughout her collegiate experience and sorority involvement. Jasmine is dedicated to helping her students achieve their dreams and develop confidence.

Derrick Mack
Derrick is an energetic force within the company. He joined Too Much Dance competition team in high school and has proven to be a devoted dancer since. His passion exudes during his performance and choreography. Derrick’s choreography is energetic and aligns with his affinity for hip-hop. He is a talented and dedicated dancer. Upon completion of his college journey, his talent has led him to create experiences dancing for various professional organizations such as the WNBA (Indiana Fever) and NBA (Indiana Pacers). Derrick encourages all students to do their best and to believe in themselves.

De'Isha Washington
De'Isha has been an integral part of our team since her introduction. She joined Too Much Dance while in her middle school years. She is a magnet to the students and creates close knit relationships with students in and outside of the classroom. Whether you’re looking to learn new techniques or work on your existing skills, De’Isha can elevate your dance skills to the next level. De’Isha is an experienced Choreographer and a former HBCU dancer. De’Isha has a true passion for working with the youth and sharing her gift of dance with youth and adolescents.

Aniah Collins
Aniah is an exemplary leader within the company. Aniah joined Too Much Dance while she was in Highschool. Prior to joining the team, she had no prior dance experience. Due to her devotion to dance and personal development she invested time into the craft and quickly embodied poise, liveliness, and enthusiasm. Aniah is now a choreographer and studio manager. Simultaneously, she tailors her pace to her students’ individual needs. Aniah works hard to help her dance family grow and achieve their best in a friendly, fun environment.

Mariah Arnold
Mariah is a militant style coach due to her Military involvement. Her service is deeply valued within the services and within the studio. Mariah inspires greatness in all students. She is passionate about dance and finds joy in cultivating confident dancers. Mariah’s dance journey began during her Middle school years. Since 2016, when she joined Too Much Dance she has proven to be committed and invested in the company’s expansion and training with new students. Mariah’s compassion and devotion towards dance aligns with her teaching abilities.
